AHHH AWESOME POEM> Wearing Nothing but Her Corset Style Bra

Wearing Only Her Corset Style Bra

And matching underwear
She lounges in the sun holding her
Breath every few moments as if
Rays of golden mercury could cause her to drown

Her lips stay pursed together
Like a child concentrating far to hard
On a simple problem. Her eyebrows
Stay deeply furrowed even when her cheeks
hint at the smallest measure of joy

Her body makes pretty shapes
As she lies there trying to reach
Some amount of meager peace
She searches for contentment
In the lives of others and their stories

Happiness is easy
When forced upon your life.
You can smile your brightest smile and
Most everyone will walk on by. But
Letting people in…

That is something that cannot be faked
A feeling that is only known through love
Hold its light up the window, and you’ll always find
That it’s a triple pane, it always strikes the deepest
And leaves the biggest scares,
But its that moment before the cut,
That you discover who you are.

She’s broken free from this bondage
That the world is perfect place yet in her
Heart she still believes that she can
Make a change. That she has a destiny
Somewhere to fulfill, that God has a perfect plan
For her and a more perfect will.

Aussie Poem

Dream of aqua blue, white beaches and you
Surfing, Sailing, floating to somewhere new
Currency is no dilemma; 8 for every 10
To drift across the sea, forget our home again
We can make it, if the boundless sky says so
Leave our families for adventure, it calls let’s follow
Trust me, Trust the sea, Trust the things that are still unseen
But how do you trust what you don’t comprehend
To chase something not tangible, like the wind
Your answer I have not, it lies within
It calls to you -lover and friend
Will you follow me across the sea
To amber fluid, to bluies and brumbies alike,
Come away with me, adventure is calling

Poem IDK title

Sometimes I just sit
Motionless
In one place

I let my mascara
Spill
Down my tear streaked face

Like a pantomime
Inked
With many emotions

I’m just coming to the
Crash
Of an intoxicating love potion

Escape. Poem for class

Who am I
What happened, did I fall from some unknown
Height. Did I attempt to fly
Away in a perilous and unfit airplane.
Were my dreams so large
that they could not fit into my pocket
sized destiny.

I feel
The grain of the wood plank
I sit upon, and the soft lapping
Of water against the boat’s side.
I look with my fingers
And find the oars that fit
My hands perfectly.

I search
For something in the dark
Anything that could help
direct me. I find matches
but no lantern to light.
The fog lifts
From the lake, and my mind.

I see myself now
But it is not as I thought, I am floating
Towards the shore. Back to life
That I once called my past.
I did not fail the usual
Quest, I did not even leave
Our backyard pond.

Poem for poetry class

How do I worship here
I don't fit
into this body
There is an arm, a leg,
a neck to hold up the head
but nowhere for me
This is not where you want me to be

No, my sanctuary
is not found in the colored
stain glass light
or in the threads of
a prayer mat
my sanctuary isn't in the
garden or the populated temple

in the dark
alone
except for your voice
eyes closed
i must feel for everything
even my own self
here you speak
your words wrap around
into my heart, my head
guiding me
like finger tips to film
one step after another
until I am completely developed
open the door; reveal your light
