Fear latches on to my throat
Falling deeper into my chest
It’s claws dragging across my skin
Taking me back to that dark abyss
An ocean of undead bodies surrounds
Consuming me within its floating mass
I am immersed between the waves
In an eerie dream like vision of death
Like Jezebel and Baal
Snakes once thought to nurture they
Slither their tongues over the ears
Of the easily impaired
And to them they whisper
Secrets in the silence of day,
And screams in the dead of night,
Their voices take root within the soul
But out of the black ooze she appears
Known as a cursed and lifeless thing
But what they deem worthless
What they discard because of bitter hate
Has brought me back to life
So speak sweetly you subtle snakes
Let your poisoned tongues rest upon the weak
For low when the time is right
The Lord’s vengeance will he seek
