Orders Wedding Photos

For my Oak Tree

And all of the sudden
I remember
That my mouth tastes like tears.
I remember why my eyes burn
As if someone has rubbed
Salt into them, or sand.
That is still early
In the evening and that
There is still much to do.
I remember that I watched
The geese fly over head
Recently.
I remember
you.

For Jeremy... about Us.

Logic can never mix with emotion
No matter how hard we try
The two will always separate
Like oil from water
And sometimes when we try to save someone
We end up captured instead
Like a distant train whistling in the night
We will always feel that tinge of loneliness
Some build walls to see who will tear them down
But we specialize in breaking through
Just so that no one can see our own scars
Some people’s pasts are easily seen
Like the pattern grain of wood
You see where they are and where they have been
That is forever loosing its form

For Ri

A pictures
Worth a thousand words
But what if those words could mean more
What if every item had a secret meaning
And what if you could only discover those meanings
Over a long period of time?

At first glance
I see a lot of things
Your beautiful eyes
That sparkle in the flash
A smile that speaks
Of happiness inside
A peace that surrounds you
Though all around is chaos

But now that picture means even more
Something worth 1000 words is now worth 2000
For after a month of being in your arms
I have learned that each particle has a meaning
Every inch of mass matters in a way I never knew

Now I see you
Eyes that twinkle in the sudden flash
Like you are unconsciously winking at me
A perfect smile that sometimes causes you pain
Happiness that often hides behind a wall
Even though your laugh is contagious like a wildfire

I understand that nudge across my skin
Means that you want a kiss
That you want me to look into your eyes
That with those eyes you hold the power
To say, I love you
Silently you can beg
For things such as a back massage
Fingers across your skin

What once said so much
Now speaks in ways I never knew
Like a wonderful line spoken in a soft voice
It now resounds across the widest of space
Echoing back at me a hundred times
The sweetest thing I ever heard.

Siren's Song

Once jade eyes, blaze and glow
Of sky and sea she trusted
But now darkness fills her soul

Swimming together they'd jump from the cliff
Gazing into each others eyes
As across the air their body drift

That which was once turquoise
Oh bend and curve of wave
That she posesed with perfect poise

She that once appeared so humble
Like a siren on the rocks
Took and forced my heart to crumble

And though it served as warning
The danger of that red sky morning
Filled the Sirens heart with fear
And left her to die gazing into that mirror
